Jayne Morgan Cox

I love babies, they are so sweet.
Erinn is such a sweet big sister. She just loves holding Janye.

Her Christmas bows.
I am now going to turn you all in to sheep!

So on December 18, 2010. Our little Jane Morgan Cox was born at 1:58 pm, she weighs 9 lb 4oz and is 19 1/2 inches. My water broke at 2:40 am, I called my doctor and he said that I could wait till 7:00 am to go to the hospital (sweet!). So I tried to sleep, but even though I was really having contractions yet I just couldn't sleep. so I got up and started getting things ready to go, making phone calls and all that stuff. Around 4:00 am my contractions started and they weren't that strong and I'm thinking that this is going to be like Erinn and have to be on pitocin the whole time. So we get Erinn to our friends house and head up to the hospital. We get there at 7:00am and I'm dilated to a six! I'm thinking wow this is going so much better than Erinn! They didn't have to give me pitocin which was nice, but it still took me a while to dilate. Mean while.......... My parents are on the train to Salt Lake City to catch their shuttle up to Rexburg. They get to SLC at 3:oo am and their shuttle leaves at 7:30 am. So I'm thinking what a bummer that they weren't going to make it on time, because my due date was still 2 days away so plans weren't going as planned! So their shuttle ends up being 2 hours late and I'm thinking that they defiantly aren't going to make it. To make a Long story short..... They get to the hospital pulling their luggage into the delivery room and like 5 minutes later Jayne is born!!! at 1:58 pm. So my was basically as long as Erinn's but physically so much easier. With Erinn I pushed for 2 hours... with Jayne I pushed for maybe 10 minutes! So that was nice!

My Recovery with Janye has been rougher on my Body than with Erinn. With Erinn my recovery was annoying because I had stitches to heal from because I had to have an episiotomy because Erinn was so big (10lb 110z). With Jayne I lost a lot of blood because my placenta detached immediately, so as a result I passed out 2 different times while I was at the hospital. So I made the nurses nervous, so every time I had to get up and go to the bathroom I had to call a nurse and be babysat while I did so. I have been weaker and still don't feel 100%.

Other than my big adventure I am feeling fairly good. Jayne is a good natured baby just like Erinn. She's not colicky...thank goodness, and is a great eater. Erinn is such a sweet big sister. She loves to give Jayne hugs and kisses and is always wanting to hold her. She gets really excited when she get to hold Jayne to the point where she is just trying to pull her out of my arms. It has been nice having my parents here to help out and fun to have them here for Christmas. I will miss them when they have to go home. I sure hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas. I know that I did, and I have the most sweet gift of all this year with our new little addition to our family.

This and That...

I think I'm 35 or 36 weeks not sure, but I think my belly looks weird. But you can tell now where my ginormouse babies like to hide... in my ribs!

This is our family photo we took after we decorated the Christmas tree.
So life for us has been pretty much normal. Tony got to come home to us a little sooner have planned because his job season ended sooner that we thought it would, so that was a delightful treat to get him back. Life has been pretty mellow. Just Doctors appointments and Christmas shopping and everyday things. I am now 38 weeks into my pregnancy and ready to be done, between my screwed up sacrum, my pubis symphesis popping every time I turn over, peeing every hour when I'm sleeping, and my numb stomach because that's where my babies think its so much fun to hang out at.....I'm ready....and I think Tony is too! I could have been induced a week early but I decided to be nice to my mom and wait till my due date to do so, so that way she can be there. I'm not a fan of being induced but because I have big babies it come highly recommended for me. And even though my water broke on its own with Erinn I was basically induced because my contractions weren't starting on their own.*sigh* So lucky me I get to be put on pitosin and hallucinate on statol because I refuse to get an epidural. I don't care how good the anesthesiologist is that's my spine and they are not touching it with a needle. I know everyone has their opinions on that, and that's mine.... and its not gonna change. Anywho!
Decorating for Christmas this year was so fun with Erinn! Granted we did put up the tree and the lights on the tree while she was napping. But we saved the ornaments for her to help us hang them. She was so excited to help it was adorable. She would go and grab the ornaments and bring them to us and we would put them on, because she couldn't get the hang of hooking them on by herself. Now I think that Tweee(tree) is her favorite word! She loves to point at the tree and say Tweee, its super cute.
Life in Rexburg is just fine, cold of course but just fine. We miss our families, but we are enjoying our new adventure so far and getting to know the town and our new ward. Our ward is so nice and everyone is so friendly.
We sure hope that everyone is have a good holiday season so far. We sure love you and miss you.

Our adventures this month.

So this months for has been adventurous for us..... to say the least. First it start out with our BIG move to Idaho (yes we now live in Rexburg Idaho). we got the Truck and everything loaded no problem the day before we were taking off. 5:00 am the following morning as we were putting Erinn into her car seat she throws up. I'm thinking that it is just the excitement of being up so early, but nope! boy was I wrong. She ended up throwing up for about 40% of the trip to Idaho. This does not make for a very pleasant trip for the pregnant Mama in the front seat driving, in a car that smells like barf for almost the whole way there. Other than that the trip to Idaho was just fine. The cars functioned correctly and we got there safely some time after midnight.

So we get there, set up Erinns port-a-crib, lay her down. Then we set up our air matress I asked Tony if he had brought any blankets from his parents house, to which he responded "no, why?" (all of our blanket are somewhere in the moving truck) Needless to say it was a very cold night and we found out why we could figure out how to turn our heater up....We share a heater with our downstairs neighbor.... and they have the heater controls.(thats fine just wish I would have known that from the begining) But Tonys Dad let us use his sleaping bag for the other half of the night. I felt bad. I asked him how he slept for the rest of the night he said "fine" I asked if he was cold he said "not really", I'm pretty sure he was and was just being super nice.

Our Elders Quorum President from our new ward (who we haddn't met or talked to before) shows up on our door step at like 9:00 in the morning and asks if we want help now or later in the day. I left that up to Tony to decide and he said "now". So our EQ President calls up his family and the truck is unpacked into the house in like 1-2 hours, It was so nice to have help.

So over the next couple of days we unpack most of the boxes and get things situated. Our landlords live in Boise and they called and said that the were going to be in town on that saturday to fix a few things that needed to be done, and so that they could meet us. Great! I was hoping Tony would get to meet them before he had to go back down to California. Our landlords are very nice, and we really like them lots.

Sunday morning We said our good-byes and I bawled like a baby ( you know its really hard to watch a daddy say good bye to there kids). I went back to bed because Tony and his Dad left at like 5 in the morning. 2 hours later I get a phone call from Tony telling me that his front drivers side tired had failed and that the tread came off and in the process busted off the fender. So I had to figure our where they were... and find the closest tow truck company to where they were so they could get a new tire, because Tony and forgot to make sure the spare tire had air in it. So a tow truck ride later and 2 new tires on the car (because one of the other tires needed to be replaced too) they are back on the road and make it back to Tony's parents house with out any other complications. (The picture below is from the trip back when the tread came off the tire.)

Ok so Tony got home on Sunday. Monday as he was drining home from work something happen with the shifter on his car. I gues there is this little part that connects the shifter stick to the transmission that holds them together so that you can shift easily. Well..... it broke. So we had to fix that. after searching high and low they found it on ebay, and it was 20 bucks. Sweet! Not too bad. so now we were faced with do we want to make a claim with the insurance about the fender to get it fixed and have a mark against him and have our insurance go up or fix it our self? Well we had decided on fixing it our self because we could get a fender for $40 and the just have to get it painted. Thank goodness we haddn't baught the fender yet, because I get a phone call from Tony.
Tony: Uh hey... we aren't going to have to buy the fender now... Me: Really? Why? Tony: Well... because I just got rear ended and shoved into the person in front of me. Me: *gasp* (freaking out silently in my head) Uh.. ok... are you ok?!?!?!? Tony: Yes I'm fine but the car is dead. Me: (thinking... the heck with the car!) Are you sure your ok?!?! Tony: Yes Audra I'm fine..... um I need to go I'm using someone else's cell phone will you call my Mom and tell her what happend and that I might need a ride.

Ok so Tony hates carrying a cell phone and I tried to make him carry one for these kind of reasons, but it was pointless because half the time it would sit on the counter forgotten at home.
So I call his Mom and tell her all about it and answer all of her questions the best I can and let her know that he would be calling when he needed a ride.

So apparently what had happened was traffic was going along really well on the road that he was on and it came to a stop I guess unexpectedly and thats why the guy behind him ended up crashing into him. The man who hit him was an on Duty Parol Officer. So good news is he is insured through the state. So as far as we know things will work out insurance wise. I feel bad for the guy who hit him, I hope he's not in trouble at work for crashing a work car.

Tony is doing fine he went to the chiropractor to get adjusted and our chiropractor wanted him to wait through the weekend so that his muscels could relax and let the symptoms manifest themselves and he gave Tony some paper work to fill out so Tony could write down what the symptoms were so that the chiropractor could see what kind of stuff he was dealing with since the car accident was that bad. He said that if the accident had been worse he would be taking a different approach. Tony says he feel fine, he says that the only thing he feels like he needs is and adjustment and a really nice/ grueling massage from me when he gets back. So ya this is our month of October for us. Hope your was Better. Enjoy looking at the pictures!

So now we are trying to figure out if we want to Buy another car or... just live with having the one until Tony get finished with school in a few years. We'll see.

.........

So life is a little crazy right now. In about two weeks we will be moving to Idaho. Side note: I am really happy that I Love my in-laws and get along with them great or the last two months would have been not so fun. Thank you Mom and Dad Cox. End side note! I am really excited to get things moving and start our next adventure. The one thing that I'm not looking forward too is the first 2 months, because it will be just Erinn and I up there. We have decided that it would benefit us financially if Tony came back down and finished out his work season for work. So he will be joining us (hopefully) the beginning of December... I told him even if the season isn't over by the beginning of December tough nuggets he has to join me because baby #2 is due December 20Th. But I know everything will work out for the better. I am a little nervous about how finances will be over the next few years, so I have to put that one in the faith department and remember that as long as we pay our tithing everything will work out. My other worry is that we wont qualify for medicaid, we have medical here in California so I'm hoping we will qualify for medicaid in Idaho. If not.... I guess I will have to chalk it up to one of life's experiences while having children. Other than that..... I'm way excited to be in a new place, make new friends, and see some people that I grew up with who are going to school at BYU-I also. I and looking forward to my cousin Cody and his wife Lucy being there, as well as a few other cousins. Oh and I am also way excited that my mom will get to come up and be there when I have baby#2 and she will be staying for two weeks YAY!!!!! So all in all life is pretty good, I'm excited....nervous... and feeling blessed all at the same time so I can't complain.

Moving.

Ok....Yes the rumors are true we will be moving. Tony got accepted to BYU-Idaho, he starts the winter semester. July 31st is our last day for our lease on our apartment, we don't want to pay month to month because its an extra $50 so we will be moving in with Tony's parents in Oakdale until we move up to Idaho. This way we will be able to save the money that we would pay for rent for the move, and its still close enough to Tony's work that the commute wont be bad......as apposed to living with my parents in Sonora Tony would have to leave at like 5 in the morning. Anywho. We plan on moving up there around October November timeish, we would like to get up there and unpacked before I have this baby. We will be sad to leave Turlock and our friends, but we are excited for the new adventure in our lives and finally get school finished.

Confession.

OK so about a month ago Tony was all excited because he had plans to take me to the chocolate festival. Well we went this weekend. It was a tone of fun all kinds of old cars and craft booths and food and yep chocolate. Well for about a month I battle back and forth with I've never been to the chocolate festival and I don't know when I will get to go again........ so my dilemma was do I take a break from my new years resolution for the day and have fun and have some chocolate and any other tasty treats that I might like to have or do I stick to it and say I did it for 365 days of the year????? Well.... I decided to have fun and indulge :p I have to say that it was the most idiotic indulge I have decided to make (remember no candy, ice cream and cookies). So one of the first things we come upon was free ice cream samples and the Smuckers booth sweet! Remember I am enjoying the day... The sample was like a table spoon of ice cream and a topping of my choice, I chose strawberry......yum! Well because of my morning sickness eating sugar really makes my stomach upset, wish I would have remembered that SMALL detail, because that table spoon of ice cream did it for me I was done with the sweets after the first 10 min of being there. If I would have remembered that I would still have my 365 day record.... now I have a 364 day record LAME! So ya I didn't even get any chocolate at the chocolate festival. So here is my confession. On the up side we got a free picture!

My New Years Resolution.

My resolution is that I will not be eating candy cookies or ice cream for the next year. I had my resolution decided back in November mainly because I was kind of discusted with myself. When ever I would eat these things I would gorge on them and its just awful I would tell myself that I need to calm down on eating these things but I craved it all the time and when I say all the time I mean ALL THE TIME. I finally got to the point that I was tired of craving these things and that it needed to stop. I figured out that it is a all or nothing thing when it comes to sweet. I would eat like 15 cookies a day if they were around, ice cream I would eat like 2 heaping bowls a day if it was around and if I didn't have it at my house I would eat my sisters ice cream! And candy..... if you know me candy is my love, I just love candy. So I decided that this needs to stop.

My goal with this is to hopefully make it so I don't look at these things and just want to pounce on it, lose weight, and feel better about myself. I had decided in November that on the first of the year is when I would start so that I could prepare myself mentally for this, because for me this is a HUGE thing. And you know what it has worked! When it came to the new year it was like a switch in my head. When I go to the store, I don't look and those things and sit there and wish that I could have it. It doesn't appeal to me. I'm way excited I know that its only been 15 days but you know what I haven't eaten any of the said things and........ I've lost 4 pounds!!!!! The other reason why I am so motivated to do this is because I shared with a friend on day my resolution back in December and this person proceeded to tell me that the reason why most new years resolutions fail is because they were unrealistic..... and then proceeded on telling me a better way to go about it. I know that this person meant well, but it felt like this person was telling me I was going to fail. And I didn't like that. So here I am. I am going to prove to myself that I can do it.

I have to admit I have had only one craving and it was today I wanted a Andes mint which is something I hardly ever eat. I know random! And I have been having dreams that I'm eating candy and then I realize in my dream what I am doing and I'm like NOOOOOOOOOO! And then I wake up and think wow that was weird. I know silly. Anywho. So that's my resolution. And I'm gonna do it darn it!
