Grateful

This Is A Thank You To My Uncle Sam For "Fixing" Erinn's Face. When Erinn Was Born Her Jaw Was Very Mis-Placed. I Pointed It Out To The Doctors In The Hospital When She was Born And They Said That They Didn't See Anything Wrong. So I Took Her To My Chiropractor The Day After She Got Home From The Hospital. And The First Thing He Noticed Was........ Yep You Guessed Was Her Out Of Place Jaw. He Did The Best He Could For Her But Wasn't Trained Very Much In Cranial Adjustment So He Told Me That He Could Refer Erinn To A Chiropractor In The Bay Area Who Specializes In Cranial Adjustments, The Only Draw Back Was It Was $150.00 An Adjustment After Much Prayer And Discussion With My Parents About Possibly Helping Us Out With The Financial Part Of The Situation. My Dad Reminded Me That We Were Going To Be Having A Family Reunion And That His Brother (Uncle Sam) Would Be There. Uncle Sam Is A Very Very Very Gifted Chiropractor. I Thought About That Simple Revelation And Prayed About It And Decided To Wait Till The Family Reunion And See What Uncle Sam Could Do For Erinn. And If He Couldn't Then We Would Go To The Doctor In The Bay Area. Well Needless To Say Uncle Sam With His Wonderful Talent Given To Him From Our Father In Heaven Was Able "Fix" Erinn's Face. He Had To Un-Jam Her Temporal Bone, Zygomatic Bone, Pallet, And Occipital Bone. Even With Uncle Sam's Gentle Hands Sadly It Was a Slightly Painful Process For Erinn. My Dad Actually Had To Go Out Side Because He Had A Hard Time Hearing Her Heart Breaking Crying. But As Soon As The Last Adjustment Was Made Erinn Immediately Stopped Crying, Looked At Me With The Will You Please Pick Me Up Now Look. Of Course I Picked Her Up And Gave Her The Loves She Was So Dearly Needing. Her Adjustment Has Held And Now Her Face Is Finally Even. Fortunately We Were Able To Do This At An Age Were She Wont Remember The Traumatic Experience.

If You Look At The Picture I Have Posted You Will Notice Erinn's Right Side Of Her Face(the left side of her face looking at the picture) Slightly Drooped. It No Longer Does That Anymore. I'm So Happy For Her. Thank You Again Uncle Sam For Adjusting Erinn.

Happy Halloween!

We Had A Fun Halloween, We Hope You Did Too. We Went To Our Wards Trunk Or Treat, And Had A Blast. We Had A Chili And Corn Bread Dinner. After The Dinner They Lined Up All Of The Kids And Had Them Parade Around The Gymnasium. All Of The Kids Were So Cute. Then We Went Out Side And Had The Trunk Or Treat. I Was Lots Of Fun. Tony Had Fun Trying To See If Kids Would Give Him Their Candy, And When They Started To He Would Tell Them He Was Just Kidding. It Was A Very Fun Night. Here Are Some Pictures Of Our Costumes. Enjoy!

Erinn Was A Firefly, Tony Wore A Pesticide Treatment Out Fit From Work, And I Was A Bag Of Jelly Beans.

OH TO BE A KID AGAIN.

I Remember Playing In Box's When I Was A Kid, And It Was So Much Fun! I'll Admit I

Probably Played In Them Until I Was 13, And An Occasional Play In The Box's With My Niece's
And Nephew's Here And There. So Why Not Start Erinn Out Young? She Thought It Was Fun For About 10 Minutes.......But Hey That's A Good Start. Kids Don't Need Those Noisy Toy's.

~ERINN'S QUILT~

So Here It Is, I Finally Went To Walmart And Copied My Pictures. I Forgot To Take A Picture Of How It Wall Started And Of Me Sewing It Sorry, But It All Started Out With My Friend Traci Making A Quilt For Her Baby And I Got Motivated, So I Busted Out my Graft Paper And Started Drawing Patch Quilts There Were Four Different Ones And I Chose The One With Her Initial On It, And Decided I'm Going To Do One For Every Child That I Have And It Will Have Their Initial On It So They Can't Steal Each Others. I Know That They Will Probably Still Try To Steal Each Others But Its A Fun Thought Anyway. ( I Hope You Can See The Eyelet Lace Around The Edges Its What Makes It Super Cute.)

I Embroidered Her Name And Birth Date On It For Her. It Was Fun To Embroider Again I Hadn't Done It Since High School.
I Made A Matching Snuggly Out Of The Scraps Its About A Square Foot. So If She Gets Attached To Her Blanket, She Will Have The Understanding That This Is What She Gets To Take Out In Public If She Wants Tho take Her Blanket With Her. And It Fits In The Diaper Bag Nicely.
This Is My Make Shift Quilting Frames I Realized When It Came To Tieing That It Was Going To Be A Little Difficult To Do...... So I Used My Kitchen Table Chairs And My Food Storage. It Worked.
Erinn Sure Had A Lot Of Fun Helping Me Tie It. She Had Fun Crawling Around Under It. I Have A Feeling She's Going To Be Just Like Her Mama And Build Forts Out Of The Couch Cushions And Blankets.
It Was A Lot Of Fun Teaching Myself How To Make A Patch Work Quilt. I'm Excited For The Next One.

Its Been Crazy...But We Have Survived.

So This Has Been A Super Busy Summer With Two Cousins And A Brother Getting Married. And Having To Travel All Over The Place With A 5 1/2 Month Old Baby Isn't Exactly An Easy Thing To Do. But The Craziness Is Over And Everything Is Back To Normal.

I Have Been Having Fun Learning Some New Things I Am In The Process Of Making A Quilt For Erinn, Which I plan On Posting Pictures Of It When It Is Finished. I Am Learning How To Weave From My Mother...Not A Very Easy Task might I Add. And I Learned How To Do Canning Also. Its Been A Lot Of Fun.

Erinn Is Getting So Big So Quick, She Is 5 1/2 Months Old Almost 6. (on Sept 3 she will be 6 months) She Crawling Around Now Has Been For A Week Now, And She Can Sit Herself Up, Also She Has Pulled Herself Up Into A Standing Positions Twice Now. WOW Huh? I Am Very Surprised, Its Kinda Exciting. She Is Just Progressing along. I Love Our Little Girl She Is Such A Sweet Heart. It Is So Fun To Watch Her Grow And Learn.

Hairy Stuff!

Tony Is Such A Good Sport.

A Couple Weeks Back Before Tony Cut His Hair I Asked Him If I Could Take A Picture Of Him With A Bow In His Hair Just Like Erinn. And With Out Complaining He Said "Ya". I Love My Husband He Is So Fun!
Ok So I Cut My Hair About A Month Ago... Sorry It Took So Long To Post Pictures But Here They Are. I Was Growing My Hair Out To Donate It. I Wanted To Grow It Out To My Bottom, But With How Hot The Weather Has Been Lately And With The Way Hair Falls Out After Pregnancy I Decided It Was Time. So Here Are The Before And After Pictures. Thank You Krissy For Cutting my Hair.

You Just Gotta Love Free Things And Very Nice People.

So The Other Day I Met This Really Nice Lady Named Ruth When I Took My Aunt Luch While She Was Working At A Firwoks Stand For Pittman High And She Absolutly Fell In Love With Erinn. She Asked Me If I Had Heard Of Jon Michal Terry One Of The Local Photographers Here In Turlock. I Told Her I Had Not. She Started Telling Me About Him, And How Once A Month He Does A Drawing From Letters People Had Sent To Him And If He Draws Your Name You Get A Free Photo Shoot, And He maks You A Cd Of The Pictures That He Takes And Hes Has A Release On His Website That You Can Print Off So You Can Make Copies Of His Pictures. I Thought He Sounded Way Cool. Ruth Asked She Could Hve My Name And Phone Number And Said That SHe Would Tell Jon Michael Terry About Me. I Said Ok And Gave Her The Info Thinking Nothing Would REally Come Of It, But It Was A Nice Thought To Have A Free Photo Shoot. So The Next Day I Get This Phone Call From Jon Michael Terry Telling Me That His Wife Ruth (His Wife?!?!? I had No Clue) Just Went On And On About Erinn And Wanted To Set Up An Appointment To Take Pictures. SWEET! Needless To Say i Said Yes And Set Up The Appointment. He Was Very Nice. I Would Recommend Him To Anyone. So Here are Some Of The Pictures. I Think There Were 67 Of Them So I'm Just Postin A Few. Oh Ya! He Put Two Of The Pictures On His Website. So Check It Out. www.jmtphoto.com And Go To Family And Children In The Portfolio. Enjoy!

Socks!

Ok So There Are Ups And Downs To Having A Baby With LOTS Of Hair.

Ups: We Get Noticed Every Where We Go. And Plus Its Kinda Fun To Show Her Off!

Downs: She Has Started Pulling Her Hair So I Some Times Have To Put Socks On Her Hands. And The Other Down I Have This Moby Wrap That I Absolutely Love And For Those Of You Who Have Seen Me carry Erinn Around In It You Know That It Is Kinda Comical Just Seeing This Puff Of Hair Sticking Out Of the Wrap. Ok So Here Is The Down I Have Been Asked On Two Different Occasions If I Am Carrying A Dog. I Kindly Smile And Say Nope Its My Baby Girl And I Show Them Her Face. But Honstly If I Had A Dog I Would Not Carry It Around With Me Everywhere, And If I Had A Dog It Would Not Be A Small Dog It Would Be A Big One. Oh Well I Guess. Enjoy!

She Looks Like She's Got Sock Puppets!

Pictures From Erinn's Blessing Day.

So Here Are The Pictures Of Erinn That I Promised.

She Just Sat There All Perfect Like For The Pictures.

Isn't She Just So Pretty?..... I Think So.

This is Aunt Eliza She Made Erinn's Dress.

Family, Car, and The Flu.

So this month so far has been pretty busy for us. on may 3rd we had Erinn's baby blessing there were eleven people in total in the circle and that wasn't everyone we wanted in the circle we decided it would be best to to keep it to just immediate family and the bishop and that in its self would have been 9 but the bishop counselors decided to join in we were a little surprised by it but oh well it was a good blessing. Erinn's dress was so beautiful, my Aunt Eliza Bonner made the dress for Erinn it was kind of an adventure. Aunt Eliza lives in another town about 2 hours away and was meeting us at the church that morning with the dress. the missionaries had called us the night before and asked us for a ride to church and i thought (scary i know) if we take the elders to Church it will definitely help us to be on time (we have 8:30 am church). well even though i got up extra early to get ready and have time to pick up the elders we managed to get to church right when the meeting was starting so we had to scramble to get Erinn into her dress. good thing there was another baby blessing before ours so we had enough time to get her in her dress. it was a very pretty blessing. after church we had a potluck at my Aunt Sharon and Uncle Chris's house with all of the people who came for the blessing. it was a lot of fun visiting with everyone.

On may 15th my Dad and I and Erinn hopped in the car and headed out on our road trip to Arizona to go and visit Grandma and Grandpa Bowman, and Uncle Anthony and Aunt Rosalee and their family. we were on the road for 13 hours Erinn did really well until about an hour outside of Phoenix Erinn started throwing up because i had drank some airborne it made her sick she kept throwing up evey time i fed her the next morning her poops was the same color of the airborne. so note to self don't drink airborne while nursing! we were in Arizona from Friday night(15th) till around noon on Wednesday(20th). we were going to leave on the 19th but i got the 24hr flu from Uncle Anthony's family. we were warned that it was going around their family before we went so we knew we had a chance of getting sick. both dad and i got it. oh well we still enjoyed our visit. on the 18th it was dads birthday Uncle Anthony called all of the cousin in the area the day before and invited them all over for a birthday party for dad. poor uncle Anthony came down with the flu the day of the party and knocked flat for the day. and poor aunt Rosalee having Vally fever and being pregnant at the same time was pretty wiped out for the day too. so dad and i got everything ready for the party i made for the first time 2 Texas sheet cakes they turned out pretty good, i was a little nervous but they turned out pretty good. the party had a really good turn out Uncle Don Bowman and all of his kids came and i don't remember his first name but his last name was Bluth. it was a lot of fun listening to the stories of my dad and all of his cousins growing up together in Mexico. it really was a treat. thank you uncle Anthony and aunt Rosalee for letting us come visit. it was a lot of fun visiting with grandma and grandpa as well. i know that dad enjoyed a lot of his time reminiscing. i enjoyed listening to what i was able to hear when i had the chance. its always fun to hear grandpas stories. Wednesday afternoon we drove to Alamo and stayed the nigh at at Aunt Char and Uncle Kikos house, while there we got to see Derek, and Cody and Lucy. on the way we stopped in Las Vegas at Trina and Ben's house(cousin). it was a lot of fun i got to see Trina's new little girl Paige she was born about 3 weeks after Erinn so it was a lot of fun to get to visit. i got to hold Paige when i picked her up it felt like i was holding a feather compared to Erinn. Connie and Adam and Shaylynn came over as well. it was a lot of fun seeing everyone i wish we had more time to stay and visit with everyone. we got home on Thursday afternoon, Erinn slept most of the way home, so that was good. all in all we were on the road for about 24 hours all together. it was a fun trip. thank you uncle Anthony and aunt Rosalee, aunt char and uncle Kiko for letting us stay with you.

i will put up in the next couple days some pictures of the trip and some pics of Erinn in her blessing dress. sorry its so big.
