Family, Car, and The Flu.

So this month so far has been pretty busy for us. on may 3rd we had Erinn's baby blessing there were eleven people in total in the circle and that wasn't everyone we wanted in the circle we decided it would be best to to keep it to just immediate family and the bishop and that in its self would have been 9 but the bishop counselors decided to join in we were a little surprised by it but oh well it was a good blessing. Erinn's dress was so beautiful, my Aunt Eliza Bonner made the dress for Erinn it was kind of an adventure. Aunt Eliza lives in another town about 2 hours away and was meeting us at the church that morning with the dress. the missionaries had called us the night before and asked us for a ride to church and i thought (scary i know) if we take the elders to Church it will definitely help us to be on time (we have 8:30 am church). well even though i got up extra early to get ready and have time to pick up the elders we managed to get to church right when the meeting was starting so we had to scramble to get Erinn into her dress. good thing there was another baby blessing before ours so we had enough time to get her in her dress. it was a very pretty blessing. after church we had a potluck at my Aunt Sharon and Uncle Chris's house with all of the people who came for the blessing. it was a lot of fun visiting with everyone.

On may 15th my Dad and I and Erinn hopped in the car and headed out on our road trip to Arizona to go and visit Grandma and Grandpa Bowman, and Uncle Anthony and Aunt Rosalee and their family. we were on the road for 13 hours Erinn did really well until about an hour outside of Phoenix Erinn started throwing up because i had drank some airborne it made her sick she kept throwing up evey time i fed her the next morning her poops was the same color of the airborne. so note to self don't drink airborne while nursing! we were in Arizona from Friday night(15th) till around noon on Wednesday(20th). we were going to leave on the 19th but i got the 24hr flu from Uncle Anthony's family. we were warned that it was going around their family before we went so we knew we had a chance of getting sick. both dad and i got it. oh well we still enjoyed our visit. on the 18th it was dads birthday Uncle Anthony called all of the cousin in the area the day before and invited them all over for a birthday party for dad. poor uncle Anthony came down with the flu the day of the party and knocked flat for the day. and poor aunt Rosalee having Vally fever and being pregnant at the same time was pretty wiped out for the day too. so dad and i got everything ready for the party i made for the first time 2 Texas sheet cakes they turned out pretty good, i was a little nervous but they turned out pretty good. the party had a really good turn out Uncle Don Bowman and all of his kids came and i don't remember his first name but his last name was Bluth. it was a lot of fun listening to the stories of my dad and all of his cousins growing up together in Mexico. it really was a treat. thank you uncle Anthony and aunt Rosalee for letting us come visit. it was a lot of fun visiting with grandma and grandpa as well. i know that dad enjoyed a lot of his time reminiscing. i enjoyed listening to what i was able to hear when i had the chance. its always fun to hear grandpas stories. Wednesday afternoon we drove to Alamo and stayed the nigh at at Aunt Char and Uncle Kikos house, while there we got to see Derek, and Cody and Lucy. on the way we stopped in Las Vegas at Trina and Ben's house(cousin). it was a lot of fun i got to see Trina's new little girl Paige she was born about 3 weeks after Erinn so it was a lot of fun to get to visit. i got to hold Paige when i picked her up it felt like i was holding a feather compared to Erinn. Connie and Adam and Shaylynn came over as well. it was a lot of fun seeing everyone i wish we had more time to stay and visit with everyone. we got home on Thursday afternoon, Erinn slept most of the way home, so that was good. all in all we were on the road for about 24 hours all together. it was a fun trip. thank you uncle Anthony and aunt Rosalee, aunt char and uncle Kiko for letting us stay with you.

i will put up in the next couple days some pictures of the trip and some pics of Erinn in her blessing dress. sorry its so big.
